Internship Opening: Marketing Intern

The International Franchise Association (IFA) is seeking a Marketing Intern interested in learning more about strategic communications, digital marketing, and email development. Will join a fast-paced, growing marketing team with responsibility for assigned special marketing projects.

The Marketing Intern will report directly to the VP of Marketing in special projects and research to analyze trends in franchising, providing insight into member offerings, and evaluating the effectiveness of our benefits and programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in Marketing and program development within the franchise business sector.

Ideal candidates will understand basic Marketing tactics. They will possess a natural attention to detail, intellectual curiosity to understand data and reports to help the team make better-informed decisions and adapt tactics to achieve the organizational goals as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring and tracking of marketing activities.
  • Conduct research on current trends, best practices, and innovations.
  • Analyze data related to the effectiveness and impact of programs and initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing project findings and program evaluations.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as directed by the Marketing team.
  • Provide administrative organization and day-to-day Marketing support.
  • Special Projects and other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

 

Location: Washington, DC & hybrid

Duration: June – September (Flexible dates if applicable) (40 hours a week)

Compensation: Monthly Stipend
